Frequently Asked Questions
Prior to receiving NeoGraft, patients typically ask the following:
How does it work?
NeoGraft uses a modern FUE microsurgical technique to take hair follicles from a donor site and transplant it. Before undergoing NeoGraft, patients will sit down with Dr. Fodero to discuss the direction, angle, and orientation the hair follicles should go in. During the procedure, the follicles will be placed into the thinning areas on the head, one at a time.
Am I eligible to receive NeoGraft?
Patients can be eligible to receive NeoGraft if they still have enough hair on the back of their head to transfer to their balding areas.
How long does it last?
It will take three to four months after the procedure for new hair to grow. The results can last for the rest of patients’ lives.
