Fat Transfer Buttocks Surgery Florham Park NJ

A fat transfer of the buttocks is a method of harvesting fat from trouble areas of a patient’s body, and moving them to the buttocks. Also known as a Brazilian butt lift, this procedure adds volume to the buttocks, making it look plump, curvy, and more appealing.

In total, a fat transfer of the buttocks takes between one and a half and four hours. It begins with a liposuction procedure to harvest excess fat cells from various areas of the body. Using liposuction on multiple regions offers more fat cells to work with.

During the liposuction process, general anesthesia is administered to the patient. After this, tiny incisions are created in the target areas, followed by the insertion of a cannula. A cannula is a sharp tube. The pointed end is used to loosen stubborn fat deposits, and once they’re loose, they can be removed with the help of medical suction. After this aspect of the procedure has been completed, medical stitches are used to seal the incisions.

Once the fat cells have been harvested for fat transfer of the buttocks, they are purified. This process involves removing unnecessary fluids and any damaged or dead fat cells. This leaves only the healthiest cells for the transfer. The healthier the fat cells are, the better they will settle into their new location in the buttocks.

These purified fat cells will be injected into several regions of the buttocks at different tissue depths. This ensures that the fat cells are distributed evenly and precisely to provide the long-lasting volume requested by the patient. Numerous microinjections are required.
